Building an export for an app, sales channel, or large retailer using spreadsheets is time consuming and maintaining one is difficult and cumbersome.
Venzee replaces this process by using templates to ensure that you meet the requirements for your export. Templates contain the various fields that are required or recommended for a successful export.
After you complete the fields you want to export, Venzee will check for errors so you can address these problems immediately.
There are three key functions to building your export:
One of Venzee's most powerful features is that the headers or labels contained in the products imported do not need to match the requirements for your export.
By inserting or 'mapping' an attribute from the products you would like to export into the applicable field in the template on the left, you have met the requirement for that field, even if your product ID is called 'model number' and the template requires a 'SKU'.
In some cases, you'll want to combine attributes with content to generate consumer-friendly product names, descriptions, and so on. Content is key, but can be cumbersome to create and deploy across large numbers of products.
Combining content with attributes allows you to build rich product descriptions for an entire product line in minutes.
Below is an example of building a product name including best practices for improving SEO. As you can see, we've inserted the product's name attribute, the color attribute, and finally the material attribute.
This is a basic example and can be enhanced based on your needs with additional attributes such as collection, type, or color.
Combining content and attributes works great for names, descriptions, ALT tags, SEO meta fields, and so on.
Important! When combining attributes with content be sure to use attributes that contain a value for every product (100% complete) or this may result in names or descriptions that contain missing words or phrases.
